THE BEGINNING
While designing and building her own home, Mandy Kuipers discovered the powerful impact of a well-thought-out design plan. She did not just want to construct a house, but to create a home – a place where style, tranquility, and character come together and every detail feels right.

That experience sparked her love for design. With an academic background and multiple completed university degrees, Mandy built a strong foundation. She soon realized that her creativity and sense of aesthetics found their perfect expression in designing homes – from interiors to gardens and exteriors. She translated her vision into her own design studio, where emotion, style, and functionality come together.

In 2020, MAKU Interior was born: a design studio with a strong, recognizable signature. High-end, warm, and thoughtfully refined down to the smallest details. Today, Mandy works together with a dedicated team of professionals on sophisticated full concepts for clients both in the Netherlands and abroad. Each design is created with the same purpose: to inspire, to surprise, and to feel absolutely right.
